On May 5, 2026, Dr. Milda Ališauskienė, Director of the Lithuanian Centre for Social Sciences, and Acad. Vytautas Nekrošius, President of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, renewed the cooperation agreement originally established on September 20, 2011.
By signing this agreement, which aims to ensure closer and more effective cooperation in the fields of expertise, research, science communication, and public education, the leaders commit to delegating researchers to working groups whenever possible, providing findings and recommendations on behalf of both institutions, and organizing joint conferences and discussions on relevant issues.
