The Research Council is a collegial management body of the Lithuanian Centre for Social Sciences, it consists of 19 members. The Research Council of the LCSS considers proposals for amendments to the Statutes of the Centre, considers and approves the documents regulating the scientific activities and experimental development of the Centre, considers the Annual Reports submitted by the Director of the Centre and evaluates the Centre’s implementation of its goals and objectives, and also performs other functions specified in the Statutes of the LCSS.
