On 7 – 9 September 2023, Dr Rūta Brazienė, Chief researcher, and Justina Krauledaitė, a PhD student at the LCSS at the Institute of Sociology of the LCSS, participated in the prestigious 21st ESPAnet Annual Conference, which took place in Warsaw, Poland. The conference was attended by over 350 participants from more than 30 different countries.
During the conference, Dr. Rūta Brazienė, Chief Researcher and project “Socioeconomic Factors of Youth Life Chances’ Differentiation in Lithuania (YOUTH_CHANCE_LT)” leader, presented the results of a quantitative survey. The presentation is titled “Intergenerational (Dis)advantages? The Factors Determining Youth Life Chances Differentiation in Lithuania”. Justina Krauledaitė, Ph.D. student and junior researcher, presented a presentation titled “Challenges for NEET Youth Transition from School to Work in Lithuania”.
The aim of the Research Council of Lithuania-funded research group project (No. P-MIP-22-332) is to reveal the factors determining the differentiation of life chances of Lithuanian youth (18-35 years old). More information about the project can be found at the link https://lstc.lt/en/national/
