LCSS Research Council

The Research Council is a collegial management body of the Lithuanian Centre for Social Sciences, it consists of 19 members.

The Research Council of the LCSS considers proposals for amendments to the Statutes of the Centre, considers and approves the documents regulating the scientific activities and experimental development of the Centre, considers the Annual Reports submitted by the Director of the Centre and evaluates the Centre’s implementation of its goals and objectives, and also performs other functions specified in the Statutes of the LCSS.

Research Ethics Compliance Committee (RECC)

Compliance in research covers a broad range of activity from general guidelines about conducting research responsibly to specific regulations governing a type of research (e.g., human subjects research).

The Labour Council is a collegial representative body of the employees, defending the professional, labour, economic and social rights of the employees of the Center/its branches and representing their interests.

Trade Union

In LCSS there is a trade union that represents the rights of employees and seeks to contribute to the improvement of working conditions and the organizational climate in the institution. The LCSS trade union also seeks to promote social dialogue in the country and contribute to increasing the professional well-being of all science and education workers in Lithuania.

The trade union of the Lithuanian Social Sciences Centre (enterprise number 305402917) is the recipient of the support. Those who want to support it can contribute by allocating a part of their GPM.
