The Lithuanian Centre for Social Sciences is the only state institute of social sciences in Lithuania, established in 2021, merging the Lithuanian Institute of Agrarian Economics, the Lithuanian Centre for Social Research and the Lithuanian Institute of Law.
It employs more than 120 well-known researchers in the country and abroad, and about 20 PhD students study for a doctorate every year. The spirit of academic ethics, innovation, diversity, democracy, and mutual trust is fostered in the Lithuanian Centre for Social Sciences community.
