On March 20-23, Uppsala University (UU) in Sweden held training for the academic community of the project “Building Integrity in Integrity in Higher Education, Business and Society” (BRIDGE). The events were organized by Bridge project partners from Uppsala University (Sweden), Mendel University (Czech Republic), the Office of the Controller of Academic Ethics and Procedures of the Republic of Lithuania (Lithuania), the Institute of Sociology of the Lithuanian Center for Social Sciences (Lithuania), and the University of Southeast Europe (North Macedonia).

 

On March 21-23, the BRIDGE project team organized academic and research integrity training in Uppsala. March 21 trainings are organized for scientific supervisors of doctoral and master’s students, on March 22 for master’s students and on March 23 for doctoral students. Educational modules developed by the project team for academic integrity and research ethics training and other educational materials prepared during the project were presented to the participants during the training. The participants were taught using simulated educational materials, examined the dilemmas of academic and research ethics in business and citizen science, and were invited to discuss.
